TYPES OF ANEMIA:
- Iron deficiency anemia- a condition where there is not adequate amount of red blood cells in blood due to iron deficiency.
- Vitamin deficiency anemia- a condition where there is lack of red blood cells due to vitamin B12 and folate deficiencies.
- Aplastic anemia- a condition where blood stops producing new red blood cells.
- Sickle cell anemia– a inherited blood disorder where there are insufficient red blood cells to carry oxygen to the body.
- Thalassemia – a inherited blood disorder in which the hemoglobin level is lesser than normal.
