- Drinking at least eight to 10 glasses of water per day helps to increase the flow of urine and to flush out infectious materials.
- Avoid coffee , tea, colas and alcoholic drinks since these increase bladder irritations.
- According to research, cranberry juice is the best solution for UTI. It contains substances that speed the elimination of bacteria.
- Vitamin C helps strengthen the immune system to fight infection and acidify the urine.
- Calcium helps reduce bladder irritability.
- Consuming probiotics may be helpful as they inhibit the growth of microorganisms. These are found in some yogurts.
