KIDNEY STONES:
Kidney stones form when crystalline minerals (which normally get flushed away in the urine stick together to form clumps. They range in size from a grain of sand to a coarse gravel. Most are formed of calcium phosphate or calcium oxalate.
NEPHRITIS:
Inflammation of the kidney resulting from a bacterial infection or other causes like side effects of drugs.
KIDNEY FAILURE:
When kidneys fail to work or the inability of kidney to remove waste fluids it is known as kidney failure. Kidney failure may be temporary due to acute shock or injury or maybe a severe long term condition.
CAUSES:
- Less intake of fluids.
- Consequence of other disorders such as hypertension, atherosclerosis or diabetes-all of which can severely damage the organ blood vessels.
- Enlargement of prostrate maybe a reason for kidney disease in older men
- Side effects of drugs are one of the common causes of kidney disease
- Acute kidney failure may be caused by severe infection, burns, diarrhea, vomiting, food or drug poisoning, surgery or kidney
- Chronic kidney failure may be caused by untreated hypertension, poorly controlled diabetes or an inborn condition

SYMPTOMS:
- Intense pain in the lower abdomen
- Decreased urinary output
- Swelling in hands and legs due to fluid retention
- Nausea
- Fatigue
- Confusion
- Weakness
PREVENTION:
- Healthy people should not wait for problems to cope up, rather they should try to follow a diet that will help prevent kidney disorders.
- Drinking plenty of liquids will help in flushing the urinary System and replace lost fluids.
- Consuming low-fat diet is recommended.
